Liberty Beauty Advent Calendar 2025 — the iconic Ianthe print box with 30 luxury products

Liberty Beauty Advent Calendar 2025: Full Review, Contents and Verdict

There are beauty advent calendars, and then there is the Liberty Beauty Advent Calendar. This is not a category it shares with anyone else. It is the one people talk about from January onwards. The one with the waitlist that fills within hours. The one where, in 2025, Golden Tickets were hidden inside — each worth £1,000 in Liberty Beauty store credit — just in case thirty luxury products for £275 was not already exciting enough.

We went through the 2025 edition in full. Here is everything that was inside, who it is for, whether the value stacks up, and exactly what you need to do to not miss out in 2026.

The Basics

Price: £275
Contents value: Over £1,245
Products: 30 (20 full size, 10 travel/deluxe size)

It sold out within hours of going live. It always does.

The Full Verified Contents

Skincare

Augustinus Bader The Rich Eye Cream — Full size
Augustinus Bader’s eye cream retails at £155. Full size. Not a travel mini, not a “deluxe” portion. The complete product. This single item accounts for more than half the calendar’s cover price and is one of the most striking demonstrations of what Liberty means by “value” in the context of this calendar.

Emma Lewisham Skin Reset Face Serum — Full size
New Zealand-based Emma Lewisham is the kind of brand that Liberty discovers before everyone else does. The Skin Reset Serum addresses dark spots, uneven skin tone, and texture. This is the full 30ml.

Votary Super Renewal Serum (Retinol Alternative) — Full size
Retinol without the irritation, which makes it genuinely useful for a wide range of skin types. The full 30ml.

Zelens Melatonin B12 Overnight Repair Mask — Full size
One of the cult overnight treatments at the top end of the market. Sleep in it, wake up unreasonably well-rested, pretend you just have naturally good skin.

Sisley Paris Floral Toning Lotion — Full size
Sisley is Sisley. The Floral Toning Lotion has been in the range for years for good reason: a softening, skin-prepping toner that earns its position in a serious routine.

Verden Nocturne Magnesium Night Balm — Full size
A plant-based brand built around genuine ingredient integrity. The Nocturne Night Balm is magnesium-enriched, calming, and exactly the kind of product you open on day eleven and feel quietly delighted about.

Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant — Full size
The cult enzyme exfoliator. Light powder texture, effective without being aggressive, and widely recommended by professionals. A lot of people have been meaning to try this for years.

Paula’s Choice 10% Azelaic Acid Booster — Full size
If you have been meaning to try Paula’s Choice since someone on the internet told you about it three years ago, this is the nudge. The full 30ml.

La Mer The Lip Balm — Full size
La Mer’s lip balm is a considered, grown-up take on lip care. The kind of product that sits on a dressing table rather than getting lost in a bag. Full size.

Skincycles Eye Matrix Mask — Full size
A newer name in the serious skincare space, and one of Liberty’s eight new brand inclusions for 2025. The Eye Matrix Mask is an intensive eye treatment that justifies the discovery angle of this calendar.

MZ Skin The Rich Moisturiser — Travel size
MZ Skin sits at the high end of the premium market. A travel size of something this good is still very much a gift.

Dr. David Jack Supernova Antioxidant Cleansing Gel — Travel size
A less widely known brand but quietly excellent. The Supernova cleanser is one of those products that ends up on a lot of “hidden gems in my routine” lists.

Makeup

Lisa Eldridge Seamless Glide Eye Pencil in Ground Coffee — Full size
Lisa Eldridge is one of the most respected makeup artists and brand founders in the industry. Ground Coffee is a warm brown that suits most eye colours and works as both a liner and a shadow if you want it to.

Trinny London Sheer Shimmer Lip2Cheek in Violine — Full size
Trinny London’s Lip2Cheek buildable colour is a fan favourite, and Violine is a soft, wearable mauve-pink. Full size.

Trish McEvoy Sheer Lip Colour in Mulberry — Full size
Trish McEvoy is a New York makeup artist with a quietly devoted following and a consistent track record for getting lip shades exactly right.

Jones Road The Mascara in Pitch Black — Travel size
Jones Road was founded by Bobbi Brown after she left her eponymous brand. The mascara is one of their most talked-about products and one of the most pleasant surprises in this calendar if you have not encountered the brand before.

Fragrance

The fragrance section of this calendar is exceptional. Eight distinct scents, two full size, six travel/deluxe. The range spans niche, cult, and discovery brands rather than repeating the familiar luxury names — which is precisely the point.

LBTY. Zephirine Eau de Parfum — Full size
Liberty’s own fragrance line, exclusive to the calendar. Zephirine is a floral named for the climbing rose, and it is exactly the kind of thing you would not buy yourself but are immediately glad to have.

Matiere Premiere Vanilla Powder Eau de Parfum — Full size
One of the most discussed niche fragrance launches of recent years. Vanilla Powder is a warm, powdery, grown-up vanilla that bears no resemblance to whatever you were imagining. The full-size inclusion here is significant.

Ex Nihilo Blue Talisman Eau de Parfum — Travel size
The Parisian niche house famous for its Fleur Narcotique. Blue Talisman is fresh, aquatic, and immediately distinctive.

Bibbi Parfum Santal Beauty Eau de Parfum — Travel size
Scandinavian fragrance, clean-aesthetic, quiet luxury. Santal Beauty is sandalwood-forward and deeply pleasant.

Granado Esplendor Eau de Parfum — Travel size
A Brazilian pharmacy brand with a history stretching back to 1870. One of Liberty’s new-to-calendar inclusions for 2025, and a genuinely interesting discovery.

D.S. and Durga I Don’t Know What Eau de Parfum — Travel size
The Brooklyn-based niche house known for unusual, transportive compositions. I Don’t Know What is a citrus-amber-green combination that earns its place.

Vyrao The Sixth Eau de Parfum — Travel size
A wellness-forward fragrance house built around biodynamic ingredients. Grounded and atmospheric.

Vilhelm Parfumerie Sparkling Jo Eau de Parfum — Travel size
A New York-founded niche house with a slightly playful approach to fragrance. Sparkling Jo is citrus, light, celebratory.

Hair and Body

Davines Naturaltech Nourishing Shampoo — Full size
The Italian salon brand that appears in every serious conversation about good shampoo. The Naturaltech Nourishing range is for dry or damaged hair and the full 100ml is a genuinely usable amount.

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer Deep Conditioning Treatment — Full size
Philip Kingsley’s pre-shampoo treatment has a cult following for good reason. It conditions without weighing hair down and the 75ml is a proper, satisfying portion.

Larry King A Social Life For Your Hair — Full size
A salon staple from the London stylist known for his work with major editorial and celebrity clients. A Social Life is a leave-in finishing cream that works across textures.

Mirror Water SMOOTH Body Oil — Full size
Mirror Water is a wellness-led body care brand that puts serious thought into both formulation and fragrance. The SMOOTH Body Oil is one of their hero products and a genuinely lovely bath-to-bedroom addition.

Maria Nila True Soft Argan Oil — Full size
The Swedish salon brand with a strong sustainability position and a quietly devoted professional following. The True Soft Argan Oil is lightweight and works on most hair types.

Charlotte Mensah Manketti Oil Conditioner — Travel size
Charlotte Mensah’s award-winning Manketti Oil range, developed specifically for textured and Afro hair. One of the few calendars at any price to include a product developed specifically for a different hair type. The right inclusion.

Is It Worth £275?

The honest answer: for the right person, extraordinarily good value. For the wrong person, still good value, but some products will sit in a drawer.

The “right person” is someone who uses high-end skincare, is open to niche fragrance, and finds the prospect of encountering eight new brands genuinely exciting rather than overwhelming. At £275 for over £1,245 of product — including a full-size Augustinus Bader eye cream alone worth over half the cover price — the maths are almost embarrassingly favourable.

The “wrong person” is someone who only wants to use their existing heroes and has no interest in discovery. Liberty’s curation is built around introducing you to things you have not tried yet. That is a feature, not a bug, for most buyers. But it is worth being honest about.

The Box Itself

The 2025 box was designed by artist Clym Evernden and came with a matching Ianthe-print drawstring bag to mark Liberty’s 150th anniversary. The Ianthe print is Liberty’s signature small floral, recognisable to anyone who has spent more than five minutes in the store. It is large, beautiful, and survives December intact. People use it as a drawer divider in January. People put it on shelves. People feel vaguely guilty throwing it out. In its way, it is part of the product.

The Golden Ticket

A number of Golden Tickets were hidden across the 2025 run, each worth £1,000 in Liberty Beauty store credit. If you found one: your 2026 beauty calendar situation is very comfortably resolved. If you did not: we are sorry to raise it.

How to Get the 2026 Liberty Calendar

The 2025 calendar sold out within hours of going live. That is the single most important thing to understand.

The steps:

  1. Sign up to the Liberty London newsletter now. Subscribe at Liberty London
  2. Follow Liberty on Instagram for real-time launch alerts.
  3. In late August or early September, Liberty will announce the 2026 waitlist. Register the moment it opens.
  4. When waitlist access emails land, treat it like a flash sale. Be at a device. Have your payment details ready.
  5. Do not plan to buy it later. There is no later.

The Verdict

The Liberty Beauty Advent Calendar 2025 was exceptional. Twenty full-size products from ten skincare names, three makeup brands, two fragrance houses, and five hair and body labels — plus eight fragrance discoveries in travel size. Twenty-six of the thirty products were exclusive to this edit. The box was the 150th anniversary edition.

In a market where value claims are often aspirational, Liberty’s 2025 calendar delivered. It is not the calendar you buy if you want to open twenty-four things you already know you love. It is the calendar you buy if you trust the curation and want December to introduce you to things you will still be talking about in February.
