The Advent Collection is an independent editorial site dedicated entirely to advent calendars. Not gift guides that happen to mention them in passing. Not a department store with a vested interest in what you buy. Just honest, expert curation from people who genuinely love the countdown to Christmas.
We cover every category (beauty, food and drink, alcohol, luxury, kids, wellness, and the delightfully unexpected) across every budget. Whether you’re buying for yourself, searching for the perfect gift, or trying to work out whether this year’s Liberty calendar is worth the upgrade from last year’s, you’re in the right place.
What we do differently
Most advent calendar content online is written once in October, published in a rush, and forgotten by January. We work differently. Our reviews are researched year-round. We track the brands that release a new calendar every year: Liberty, Charlotte Tilbury, Harrods, Hotel Chocolat, LOOKFANTASTIC and more. We maintain a running archive so you can compare what each brand has offered over time. Has the quality improved? Is it better value than last year? Are the contents worth the price increase? We answer those questions so you don’t have to guess.
We also keep our eye on what’s coming. Confirmed pre-orders, limited editions, brand announcements. If there’s something worth knowing about before it sells out, we’ll tell you first.
